Default OEM parts/ VOLVO

Of course the easy answer to this post is: always buy only Volvo parts from the main dealers, (to save others doing so I thought I would supply this response myself.

But Volvo do not make Bolts, Head Gaskets, or Piston Ring Kits. and I am sure no factory produce only for Volvo, therefore the original parts I need are inevitably available other than from VOLVO, in addition to less well made, but probably nearly as good aftermarket suppliers....

The Rings used in the engine are are Mahle. I am looking for these, but due to lack of availability I may need to compromise, next best suggestions sought.....

Does anyone know the OEM for head bolts and gaskett, only manufacturer I can find offering multi thicknesses of gaskets which mirror Volvo original selection is Ajussa thus suggests that they are OEM but for some reason I thought Victor Reinz was the OEM and these have been recommended locally, as have Goertz and Elring anyone with knowledge....

I usually buy my parts from Skandix in Germany, they list genuine Volvo parts and usually a good alternative. found their service in packaging and shipping to be very good.

Or use FRF in Swansea these are Volvo parts at a discount, used them also very helpful.

Thanks I used their parts for rockers and tappets and they were original.

I have found a lot of posts which suggest that elring are the OEM for the head gasket and bolts and in any case that their stuff is excellent. I have also found German supplier who has all of what I need including mahl rings. Elring bolts valve stem seals head gaskett manifold gasket delivered for 240euros....

Just need to figure out the correct gasket thickness...

I have been converted to having the head cleaned\skimmed \decoked
And seals fitted for 80 euros.
