V70: General - Waiting for a final price

I have contacted a Swiss garage and I am waiting for their feedback on what price they will give for the Z4 and what price they can best do a demonstrator D5 for.

It is fitted with the Summum pack - which doesn't match any UK pack but gives you a lot of toys. It also gains the performance audio (would have preferred premium+subwoofer - but it does save me over £1000), CD-changer, PDC front and rear (very much needed with that nose), rear middle armrest pack, curve lights, silver roof rails, the glass upgrade (anti-reflection and water), Sat-Nav with bluetooth, and canicula wheels. It is also in Titanium grey.

I am also getting a price for the chip tuning (which is fully Volvo warrantied) which will take the car to 210PS.

Additionally all Swiss cars come with the 3 year/100000km Service pack.

I might even try and drive a UK D5 Auto this weekend to have some idea what I am buying

Best of luck sounds like a high spec car to me.
D5 is a great car to drive and with the upgrade should be excellent.

First price came back, and the silly boy forgot to include the Heico chip-tuning - so I have bounced it back again - demanding more money off - and also looking to get the bumper cover thing for the boot - £35000 car and scratched bumper is my idea of hell.

Well a price has almost been agreed on - arguing over £200 or so - but anyway I will be in Switzerland this week for a test-drive - if I like it I will sort out some of the paperwork. Hopefully would then pick it up on the 15th March - 2 days after my birthday!

I would then drive it back after Easter!!

This week has seen a change of heart - with me nudging back to a 545 Touring - but after the dealer rejecting my "You've had that car for sale for 6 months" low offer and getting the lower price from the Volvo dealer - the V70 has been purchased.

Paperwork needs to be done, but I have agreed to the purchase - and am looking forward to getting the car.
