Default Never happy am I with what I have ...........

Im being my usual saddo self again and thinking hmmm maybe I should keep my Drako's on the 740 . Yes I am a right pain in the butt arnt I .

For some strange reason im led to believe that the alloys where on there from new .... as in the owner who bought it asked for the decco panel to be fitted and also the little rubber spoiler on the boot , but being an SE model wouldnt these been standard ... im not sure . Im thinking that the Drako's also where a paid added option he asked for. Also all the window surrounds etc are black and not chrome ... was this standard on an SE again I dont know .

Maybe I am wrong I dont know ....but then again the tyre sizes on the Drako's do seem to be the wrong size , they are 195 65 15 where im thinking on saloons the profile should actually be a 60 profile .

I know they are only wheels that keep the Volvo rolling .... but decisions decisions ......................... never happy me am I !!?!?!?

No im not selling it for those that think I am !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike, for the interest of comfort and your radiators integrity, 195/65 is probably the best. I put 195/55 r15s on my dracos, Apart from the massive loss in body roll (yay) it was a hell of a lot lower. And the chunkability on the higher end of speed ramps is much higher. Stick with the 195/65s, you could squeeze 205 at the most on them...

Well, over here at least, all the 740 SE's I saw had black window surrounds, wheel covers, no spoiler or garnish, and were often finished in your colour. The GL's had chrome trim. I think it's quite plausible that your options were on the car since new - they're dealer fit anyway, aren't they? And if someone took the trouble to get a spoiler, I'm pretty sure they might have gone for some alloys too.

I think you should leave all as is - it's a great looking 740!
