Default ebay drilled and grooved disks, worth it?

Hey folks, i found these drilled and grooved disks on ebay and i was wondering if there any use? They look sweet but would they make any difference in the breaking and is it easy to find the pads for them?

What baffler says really, if you can get OEM as good as then I would. Volvo's for some reason, at least X40's, seem to prefer OEM part's from filter's to oil and so on.

Alternatively, look for Mintex brake discs & pad's, well known on this forum and in the X40's section as a good replacement for OEM for the X40's, you can pick up the boxset's of the Mintex on eBay as well.

I have those discs fitted to my 740 with mintex pads. Excellent braking from them but they do create more dust than standard discs (due to grinding the pads down)

If you do buy them, check the sizes first, phase 1 front brakes are slightly smaller than the phase 1.5 & phase 2, the second link is the phase 1.5 + 2 size.

I have had Black Diamonds on my 2.0t V40 for a while now, seem to last well and very little in the way of dust, compared to std oem.
