1980 244DL 11k miles 'superb show car' - auction
Thought this would be of interest
http://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1...-244-dl-saloon I'd personally have liked to have seen some photos of underneath the car and the engine bay though I would guess it is probably excellent given the mileage and condition of the rest of the car. An incredible find though. It will be interesting to see what this goes for - sale date is Saturday 17th November. |

Love the colour combination - very 1970s.
I'd be afraid to use it. Prufrock. |

I wonder if that is Phil Edwards' car from VEC? He has same colour and mileage. It's been on the VEC stand for the last couple of years.
Kind regards Lucien |

Amazing looking car!
Wonder what it will fetch? Hopefully will be bought by a collector/enthusiast rather than being in daily use. Must be very rare in this condition. |

Truly fantastic looking car but not for me as my cars are and always will be for driving not as a long slow investment.
And if you had to be picky I'd want the bonnet to match the hieght of the front wing!third picture above the indicator. Regards Brian. |

I'd personally find this hard to live with as a daily driver down to the 4 speed gearbox however I would think anyone buying this wouldn't be wanting to use it that way. I can only hope the very damp patch in the driver's footwell is simply due to a wet pair of shoes!
