Default Volvo XC90 D5 Sport Auto for sale

Hello everybody

Time has come for me to move on my XC90. I have had her for just over 2 years and the practicality has been a real boon for me and my family. I go shooting clay pigeons and flyfishing, and for legroom for the family when on long trips and camping it has been a great car.

Full Service History with Volvo except the last which was by an independant.
91000 miles
Black Metallic
Silver 'R' Design Mirrors
Volvo Detachable Tow Pack
Heated Seats
Winter Pack
Active Bi-Xenons
Parking Sensors
Dynaudio Premium Sound
2 Brand New Continental Tyres on the front 6mm left on Rear Continentals
4 x Vredestein Wintacs (optional extra purchase for £240 and brilliant in the snow).
Black Leather
2 months Tax and 10 Months Mot
Last service had the Front Wishbones, and new parking sensors with Harness fitted.

Honest Overall condition is very good with usual stone chips. As a Design Engineer for Range Rover, I am very particular about my cars and this has been looked after. Parkers Guide values the car at £11600 with Mileage and options. I will sell for £10,800. This is the cheapest I have seen so far.

An honest car I believe!

Call Steve Conway on 07785 938576
p.s. I'll add pictures when she isn't in the rain!

Default 1996 2007 Model

The car was a Volvo Approved car 2 years ago. I think it was registered Nov/Dec 1996 and is classified as a 2007 car?....on a 56 plate.

I hope this picture come up okay!

Default £9900

Price dropped to £9900. This is £1100 cheaper than anything on Autotrader.

I will be advertising it soon.

Regards

Default Advertised on AutoTrader. Make me an offer!

Here is the car in question. Now dropped to £9450 ONO

This is still the lowest priced SE Sport out there with 12,000 miles less than the closest car to it.

My company car is on its way and this car must go.

Regards

Hijack, but take it as a bump too. As a design engineer for Range Rover, in your opinion, how does the quality of this stack up to said RR?

Default Build Quality

Range Rovers Build quality is still in question. Interior trim is excellent and tight, Chassis and powertrain are all excellent too. Unfortunately a small failure in the electrics will cause the m to stop. So the electrics are what let down a Range Rover.

Having lived with 2 volvos in the family for 4 years, I can say that they are let down by poor quality components. Doors squeak and rattle, Instrument panels do the same. The engine and transmission technology is a long way behind the BMW's and Mercs of the world. Their packaging is excellent however and they build cars that are soooooo useful that even today, the competition struggle to match them. All that ever went wrong on my cars were the usual supects, but unfortunately, the cost of parts for Volvo were prohibitive, and not designed fit for purpose. Too expensive for the quality in my opinion.
