The steel ES wheels will fit as a straight swap.
I 'think' that alloys from the 240 will fit too. Someone else on this forum will be able to confirm either way. You could also try a set of Minilites but look to pay £120+ each. The 15" X 5.5J will fit without mods but make sure you tell them its for a later car... http://www.minilite.co.uk/products.htm#magnesium |

PCD changed on the 1800 series when they started to fit disc brakes at the rear. They went to 5 x 4.25" from the earlier 5 x 4.5". 15" 240 wheels, the GLT ones are a popular choice, or those from the 700 series, maybe 900, but RWD cars only, can be used. Lots of patterns to choose from but best to max out at 6" width. Beware that steel 240 wheels tend to be 14". They may not clear the calipers on an 1800E and the choice of tyres is virtually nil.

Absolutely, must stick with 15 inch wheels. The 140/164 alloys look good if you can find a set. They were manufactured for Volvo by BBS. Nice retro 5 spoke.
