Go for the sensor I mentioned then, if unplugged hot starting should be damn near perfect, cold start a real pain in the arse, I'm not sure if crossing the wires out will bring the cold start injector in or not.
The sensor is £84 from Volvo, I'm still trying to source a cheaper one from somewhere, I've had a couple and they have all been wrong.

Just a thought(hi by the way fellow oxford member)could it be the IDLE control valve or oil in the air inlet tubing coming from airfilter to inlet manifold?
And if yours has it the idle control switch?You should be able to hear a faint click when twisting the throttle wheel.Mine clicked but the switch had stopped working. I'm not at all clued up on the mechanical injection models. Best of luck Brian. |
