Indeed- it's nothing special but it's still nice. Happiness is a warm MOT as Britain's smallest, dullest motoring magazine used to say.

I can remember being told back in the 80s that Volvos, even old ones, were among the only cars that regularly passed their MOTs first time.

Ofcourse it good when it passes MOT, I love the comments about how good a condition its in ect.

Its at MOT time I glad I do all my own work, (and I work in an MOT centre) I know the car is 100% perfect before it goes in, or I know what its going to fail on (thats another story)

But I do have pleasure out of working at my own cars, knowing its being down once and being down right.
