S40 Dash CD Changer?

My Dash CD Changer is showing the dreaded deck error in my S40 05 plate.

I have managed to take the whole changer apart and can get the cds out however I have not been able to fix the problem.

I however think I can get away with putting the printed circuit board from the inside of my changer into a working one or vice versa (the changer mechanism from a working one in mine with my circuit board).

I'm therefore keen to know is anyone has a working changer for a good price so I can try this before having to accept defeat and going down the dealer route?

you could send it to Central Services for repair ...

Hi Paddy,

Not got the unit out at the moment and didn't take a note of it last time I removed it so I'll have to get back to you.

Do you have spares?
