Can anyone give me an idea of what they would recommend a K Reg 440 I Volvo with just under 58,000 on the clock should be worth. No dents on the bodywork, slight rust and a small flaking paint on inside rear wheel arches. Inside immaculate. Any ideas would be helpful.

Unfortunately, probably no more than a few hundred pounds

With a year's MOT, possibly slightly more.

400s have hit rock bottom at the moment, even 480s with their sort of cult following don't command much more unless in exceptional condition.

Around 2 years ago I paid £200 for a very tidy 460GSi, with absolutely everything working, even the A/C.

It'll be a few years yet before prices start to rise again like has with 300s, 200s etc.

i agree with doingit.. I paid 225 for my 440gs in very good condition with a years mot ...

If its mint condish, I would say try for around 500 but be prepared to go lower, as stated they don't command much, only got 800 from insurance for mine because its unique and won runner up at southern Bkv last year and tyat was a big push.

P.S scrap is low at the moment, 50-100 for a 460/440 at the moment

Thanks for this I have an 02 plate Fiesta I have been asked if I want to swop, only paid £400 for the fiesta but spent a further £280 on a new fuel pump and an oil leak. I was trying to establish if it was a good swop.
