Stereo/DVD: - 50p stuck in multi changer

HELP!! My 3 year old thought it would be a good to insert 50p into multi- changer. Any ideas how I would be able to remove the said 50p.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If they have small fingers then make them fix their own mistake

Just kidding of course, shake it and then shake it again - but in a controlled manner.

Failing that, just take it apart

Relatively easy to get the CD unit out of the car (its a bit bigger than a PC DVD drive and is an enclosed unit).
I have never dismantled the actual unit though.

Can you see the 50p or has it disappeared from view?

If you can see it a couple of lenghts of thin wire might let you get it out.

It has disappeared from view, foolishly I attempted to change CD then the whole thing packed up. Not able to eject any cd's.

Sounds to me like somebody is going to have a look inside trying VERY VERY hard not to touch/ disturb the laser.

Ok, so I am attempting to remove the unit this weekend in attempt to somehow fix the problem. If the worst was too happen and I was to break the cd player or merely not to retrieve the 50p what other options would I have.

Has anybody had any experience of removing multi disc player, and then removing stuck cd's?
