Hello!
Hi, have just joined the forum after buying a 1971 144s needing some TLC.... my brother and myself have been hillclimbing a Toyota mr2 for the past couple years, and have sold up to replace it with a cool old proper classic and have ended up with the 144, which we're loving already. Driving it is a very different experience indeed!
It needs front suspension sorting out, brakes, seats and a nice respray, but will be tasty when finished I'm sure! will get some pics up soon, it looks pretty shonky at the moment but its so solid like a tank, thought best introduce myself before I start asking questions. Cheers Dan |

Hello
Just starting to strip mine ready for a full rebuild with a few tasty little extras, taking my inspiration from Sweden. Sorted the rust in the floor from A post to rear wheel, same again on Left before its totally off road.
Best of luck. |

Cheers Guys, only got the ebay pics at the moment, I'll take some and get them posted up, need lots of "before" pics anyway, by the way, anybody know if 14" Volvo 240 x-spokes will fit a 144? seems to be conflicting views when I have searched about it.

Yes if you can find the articles think it was last year. Fairly entertaining, he also put the whitewall tyres on it! Good luck with it! Cheers
