Seems cheap to me. I have seen scam cars on autotrader when looking for ours. The pictures and description have been lifted from another advert but with a low price. The normal way of doing it is to ask for monies up front before they will show it to you with the promise of the money back if you don’t like it but you never hear from them again once you have paid.
Saying that there are some cheaper ones around but do go I with your eyes fully open it case the seller is looking to move it on fast.

Looks a pretty fair price to me.

Suggest looking at the mot history to see that previous owners have addressed advisories promptly as well as service history.

If it is another xc90 as the op states, do you have a good indie and would it be a possibility to get it checked over before purchase??

Do you have a code reader and will they allow you to take a look? Not much good I know if all reset.

But looks good and let us know how you get on.

Check the road tax - if it's a pre 200BHP model it could be the expensive rate....

Ive just traded in my 2012 exec for a new Mini electeic for Mrs Family man. Ours is slightly newer, but slightly higher mileage, and the trade in is a coupla hundred quid less than this guy is asking, so I wouldn't deem the asking price unduly low or suspicious, although it is on the keener end of the spectrum.

Find a dealer or a specialist to give it a pre purchase health check. These are fearsomely complex machines and a mere indy won't be up to it - you need someone that knows a Haldex from CEM, someone with XC specific knowledge. Sadly, I never found one locally so have always been stuck with the dealer, although they've always done well (touching wood as he speaks).

It'll be a 200, unless it was registered incredibly late. 185s aren't univerally pricy for tax, depends on the year and wheels, etc (mine pips into the lower band by a single carbon, isin the same band as our 163) so its always worth checking the V5 before dismissing a 185 out of hand. Having said that, if car tax is a concern then a 2.2 tonne, group 40+, 5 pot, 30mpg APC probably isn't the right car for you anyway.

Let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed for you,

Far too cheap it’s a hoax.... clue is in the contact phone in the listing.

You have been warned..... keep your hard earned cash safe.

I agree, but the price .... that is exactly what we were offered on a trade-in against our SE Lux 11 months a go by uncle Arnie when we purchased the Bavarian wonder ... same age, mileage etc. We declined his offer ... so if this genuine then maybe the seller is pitching it at the trade-in price to try and get a better deal without a trade-in vehicle.

Just some thoughts.
