help explanation needed
can anyone explain why after 10K miles my propshaft on my awd has cut a hole through the end cap
cv joints were both replaced 20K ago and 12 months 6 months ago i had to change the end cap as it had cut through the end cap as i hadn't got the circlip on properly so i thought 10k and 6 months down the line its done the same again forgot to mention that its a 1998 AWD V70 |

Propshaft too long?
Knackered engine/gearbox mounts? Centre bearing in the wrong position? Difficult one to diagnose over the internet

No not yet the prop is off the car and has cut its way through another end cap the only thing Ican think off is the Cv greese is breaking down under the heat of the exhaust. and speed it rotates I am thinking that the circlip is expanding. And allowing the prop to move 5mm forward and cuting the endcap and then spraying all the grease out if that makes sense.
