I once saw a vehicle that landed (on a MSP) without the parachutes opening - it took some tome to dig it out of the hole it was buried in :-)

... nothing much to do with this thread, except the RB is in the background of the photo:
Bob and I trailered the new Royal Enfield home on Sunday - what a beauty it is! Alan

I've just insured the bike and so taken it out for a run - about 15 miles. It is a bike that makes me smile - it could have been built in about 1960. The bike weighs about 400 lbs and only has 25 HP, so riding is quite sedate. At between 50 and 60 MPH is is perfect, above 60 is harder work.
:-)

I took the RB out yesterday eve (to the grocery store, I'd run out of food for Millicent amongst other things) - the first time I'd started or used the motor car for a week (just due to using other cars and bikes).
I have to report: absolutely nothing. The RB started first turn of the key, all the electrics worked properly, the motor and gearbox ran faultlessly, the brakes worked, there were no funny noises - and the RB is a really nice car to drive. So, all quiet here, I'd better think of some small improvement I can make to the motor car :-) Alan

In other words so you can get on and use it as it ws intended instead of spending every weekend tinkering to fix it, you can now tinker to improve it.

Glad the bike is going well and you're happy happy it 😊
I'm looking forward to seeing the RB with the AW71L fitted. If I can get a breaker soon you will have to take me out in it before the gearbox swap and after so I can see the difference. You have got to come out in the 940 Alan, big smiles! |

As you know, the AW71L project won't be this year - but when it is done I'll bring the RB over for you to try. It should be the same up to 50ish (the first 3 gears are identical). :-)
