Default QUESTION FOR PEOPLE WITH AP'S

i'm getting a weird noise from my ap's when braking heavly from high speed, it happens when braking from motorway speeds, i start to hear it when the speed drops to about 60mph and it continues to around 50mph then slowly dies off and is gone by 40mph e.g getting off a motorway slip road.

it sounds like a really loud humming but there isn't any vibration, none that can be felt anyway. is this normal for ap's???

apart from that the low speed brake squeel is a pain in the butt but i understand this is a normal quirk ;)

cheers for any help.

Talk to Pete Collen at AP Racing - this sounds like a disc has either gone out of tolerance or something has moved.

No, it isn't normal and it needs sorting.

A rider to the above post - low speed squeal is normal, I meant that the vibration wasn't.
