Default Suspension noise on 850

I have just bought a nice 1993 850 se 96000 miles traded in my trusty 740 se,however the 850 though a nice drive seems a bit noisey over uneven surfaces it clanks and bangs a mate said it was bushy but did not elaberate it holds the road well does not wander and stops ok has the squeaky rear brakes though/any advise on the bushy stuff would be great.
Also anything bad i should look out for.
Thanks
Peter

The banging is indeed the suspension bushes - those early 850s go through a set of bushes almost on an annual basis, but fortunately they are quick and inexpensive to replace.

Also check the engine mount bushes, which have also probably gone.

For other problems use the Search facility - we've covered pretty much everything that's a common occurence.
