Default Access to washer reservoir for leak

Hi, I've read the threads that relate to high washer fluid useage, however I have a definite dripping leak as the cause of this on my V90 (ex-warranty). Its exiting from where the front passenger wheelarch liner meets with the very front edge of the sill, so I presume its quite likely to be coming from the reservoir itself.

Does anyone know the best way to inspect the bottom of the reservoir - can I do it by removing the (wheel and) wheelarch lining and, if so, is this difficult? The prospect of removing the fairing over the very top of the reservoir looks a little scary as that fairing seems to be continuous with the (super smooth) trim joint at the base of the windscreen.

No videos on YouTube (that I can find).

Any pointers would be welcome

Can't help with your query I'm afraid, however, I've had a screenwash leak since getting the car. First reported it to the dealer a year ago and they confirmed that it's coming from the joint between the filler pipe and the reservoir (quite common apparently, just needs a new washer). Sadly the combination of poor health and Covid has meant that I'm yet to get it fixed, however, I'll do so in the coming months once lockdown is lifted and I fancy a trip to the coast.

Just thought I'd mention it as it could well be the same issue. As well as the fluid going down quickly without use, the key clue was that fluid would start running all over the driveway when filling the fluid up, despite me not having spilt any or had it reach the top of the filler neck.

There are a few threads covering this problem on various models, and videos on YouTube.
I have the same problem on our V70 and the fix is on my 'to do' list, which was a PostIt note until my wife found it. It now covers 2 sheets of A4.
