Default My 850R - Updated pictures as promised!

Well - Some of you may remember when I bought this car I was asked to post up some pictures at regular intervals showing the progress of the work I am carrying out to her.

Finally today I managed to take some and here they are! You may notice the rather nice Milltek which now graces the rear of the car. Had lots of things done you can't see including cambelt (even though not due yet - peace of mind) & other belts, Powerflex top engine mount, ignition system replaced etc.

Not finished on my quest yet.......Have a bodyshop visit coming up to iron out a few scratches on the front splitter and one or two stone chips around the car.

Also in the process of arranging a trip to RT Mechanics to sort out a few niggly bits, regas the aircon which has just run out & give the car a full service / healthcheck for upcoming road trip to France. Also want to see if Russ can remove the towbar which the last owner had professionally fitted but I think it looks awful!

Need to get the alloys refurbed at some point too but want them done properly (not touched up) so will wait until I come back from France then see if I can afford it!

Lovely, great colour, probably my second favorite after the volvo silver!

Where did you buy your strut brace thingy and how much $$$ did it set you back?

Strut brace came with the car! I'm sure you can get them from RT Mechanics or SW Autos.

Yes indeed here's the very item from RT on ebay!

Nice looking motor and good to see you want to improve on it.

I'm off on a road trip soon too. Starting at Bilbao (Northern Spain) then taking in Andora, France, Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany (Nurburg Ring), Belgium and Holland. Should be between 2500 miles and 3000 in the T5 which I am really looking forward to.

Good look with the rest of the R and keep the pictures coming.

Sharpey.
