Default Induction Kit 2006 C70 T5???

new T5 owner here

already lowered it but also want to install an induction kit to give the car a bit more edge, but can't find any listed

will the K&N Typhoon for the S40/V50/C30 T5's fit my car or are the engines slightly different?

any help greatly appreciated

I fitted a K&N panel filter to mine which has helped, alot better pickup now, although an open induction kit (one without the standard airbox) sounds alot better !

i know i can swap the panel filter but would prefer something to beef up the noise a little as well as provide better breathing

the s40/v50/c30 T5 engines look exactly the same so my question is should this fit in the C70 T5 06on as well?

this american website seems to think so, have asked K&N direct but awaiting a reply

http://www.ipdusa.com/uploads/sku_files/13209_INST.PDF

are they the same engine?

if you can't get an off the shelf cone simlpy measure the size of the collar on the MAF sensor & get a universal one to fit that size

i've considered this but the factory box & ECU takes up a lot of space and would need ripped out to allow room for a universal cone

would then need to fabricate a heat shield and re-attach the ECU which is a lot of hassle hence the need for an off-the-shelf

That's what the "off the shelf" version for the T4 entails, almost - the original airbox has to come out. It is worth it though!

If you do get something and require ducting, I've got a spare length from an S40 kit (unused) that you are welcome to.

Cheers

Pointless waste of money. Likely to reduce performance if you're not careful.
