Brakes: 70: - snapped handbrake cable

The handbrake cable has snapped on s70. How hard is it to do myself, i have average mehanical abilities.

anything else I should change/clean whilst im there?

Overall it's not really too difficult, certainly should be within your capabilities if you are comfortable with removing calipers etc.

It does involve pulling out the base of the back seat, the centre console and lifting the carpet in the rear so can take a little while (and best done in the dry!) but there's nothing too complicated about it.
