When the question of locking nuts came up in the past I did coincidentally hear of an OAP in the wilds of East Anglia having the wheels of his KIA Ceed stolen, my thoughts were it proves how odd they are in East Anglia
When I weighed in a couple of bent Volvo alloys I got about £4 each for them - not worth the time and petrol to take them in let alone go nicking them
back in the day when alloys were an exotic rarity locking nuts were worth it, now they seem more trouble than they're worth for standard alloys.
