Driving an S40 1999 1. Crawled into boot via back seat 2. pulled out the screw clips using a pair of pliers to leaver in behind them and pop them off. The phillips screwdriver driver just had the screw turning rather than loosening them 3. Pulled back the covering a little and got my hand in behind it and up towards where the key button is. Found a rod and gave it few tugs, heard a loud click and the boot came open. 4. Once out I had to play around with the key and the lock mechanism to get the plastic cog like parts back into sync, pushed lock button in and it seemed to do the trick. 5. Went liberal with the WD-40 on all bits. Thanks dude. Last edited by RayVolv; Jul 2nd, 2017 at 20:43. |
