Radio code
I see that the thread has closed on the Radio code subject.
Is there somewhere else/ somebody else who can help as mine is locked - it’s a standard unit on a 1994 T5-R. Looks like it could be sourced from vin or reg number (assuming not recoded previously) Thanks in advance |

Have you taken the unit out to see if it's written on there somewhere? I've found they often are.....!

The code might even be written on the hand book or service record. Mine was.

If the radio is original to the car, ask any Volvo dealer for the code.
Edit: some are more helpful than others. I find the parts chappies are the most helpful.

As ITSv40 said, the parts department at a dealer can help. I obtained my radio code that way and I also pulled my radio out. Robert DIY has a link showing how to pull the radio out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UP5T_Ssti7s
Good luck. |
