Headlight (p2) adjustment issues.
Hi all, as some of you will already know, i'm running the later P2 lights, and after having the drivers side dipped bulb blow i have obviously changed the pair owing to them being 5000k white ones and i didn't want odd coloured lights, upshot of it all is that my drivers side headlight was then amazingly high, like tops of trees from 300 yards high, so tonight i deliberately parked up against a fence in tescos car park and adjusted it down so its perfectly level with the other side (see first picture, close enough) ideal, until i stuck full beam on now the drivers side is really really low (second pic) significantly lower than the other side, and even lower than the dipped one is, so my questions are...
Is there a way to adjust the hi and lo beam independently, and if there is then how would i do it, and secondly, what does the other adjuster thats more towards the outside end of the light do, what is it for, as i twiddled it a few turns both ways before realizing it wasn't changing anything before i found the correct adjuster. Many thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure the other adjuster is to adjust the light from left to right.

No, you cannot adjust the low and high beam independent, the reflector moves as a whole.
I had the same issue as you (turn the knob and nothing happened) and it was that the adjuster inside the headlight was broken to pieces. I was able to find all the pieces inside the headlight, glue them together and re-fit the adjuster, and adjust the headlights. You could also buy a new adjuster online.

I wasn't able to find just the adjuster, but skandix has it as a part of the headlight seal kit

Well it's all gone to pot now, the adjuster has fallen off the end of the other part of itself so the reflector is wobbling everywhere, I found an old thread that mentioned winding it all the way down so it clips back together but all that did was go mega tight and stripped the teeth off the wheel, I can't get a spanner to grip the nut head either, oh balls.
