Default The car "shakes" when I release the gas V40 1.8i

As the title says, if I'm on gear 1,2,3 and release the gas pedal the car shakes forward. I've got a V40 2001 1.8i GDI with new spark plugs.

I've read on several websites that it could be due to a injector not being tight as it should be so sometimes it injects petrol hence why it "shakes" , galloping or humping if that's a better explanation.
So whenever I release the gas it shakes 3-4 times before the engine brakes down the vehicle smoothly like it should do.

I've read that it could be due to a bad mass air flow reader or maybe the fuel filter, any thoughts on that? Never changed fuel filter since I got the car like 9 years ago so that would probably be a good idea to change.
