Unhappy # 9 Fuse blowing 1990 740 gl

I have a 1990 740 GL that the #9 fuse keeps blowing. This fuse if for my power windows, turn signals, and A/C. I believe there may be a short somewhere but not sure.

Whether I use my blinker, windows or A/C the fuse blows. Also if I put a new fuse in and don't use any of these items it will blow too. You can tell when it blows. It's almost like something else turns on and it blows the fuse.

Need help to figure this out. Cannot drive my car without any of these items working, especially my windows and blinkers since I live in Texas.

Please help.

well from what you have written it looks like the fault is on the flashers circuit so take a closer look at that first try and see if one side is dimmer if so that's the side probably giving trouble
you could put a meter across the fuse terminals and watch the amps when you operate various things

Do not put you DVM in the amps mode across the fuse, if the short is present it will take out the fuse in the meter. Place a bulb across the fuse pins, this will act as the electrical load before the short.

With the bulb in place ignition on flex the harness of the various circuits that are on that fuse, when the bulb is on the short is active when the bulb is out it is in-active.

it depends if you have a decent meter and not a toy lol but a bulb would do the trick as well
