Default Volvo V70 2.4 N/A Clutch Replacement

Hi all I've recently purchased a Volvo V70 2.4 N/A FWD M56 transmission (Reg KJ04 WWF) and the clutch has gone on it. I've replaced the clutch on an AE92 Corolla before so I was thinking of doing the V70 one, however...

I see in the Haynes manual that you need Volvo tooling 999 5675/7 and 999 5662/3 - if you have the spring loaded clutch plate. Is there any way to know if my car has the spring loaded clutch plate before I go ordering any parts or tooling? Or, can I replace a non-spring loaded plate onto the car if it did have a spring loaded one?

If anyone knows anything about this I would appreciate any help or point me in the right direction with any prior forum posts!
