Hi all - I've been on about this before and just wanted to pick your collective brain to see if anyone has found a quick fix to a stinky *rotten egg in the cabin* catalytic converter issue?
Our machine is a 2005 S40 2.0D SE - we have found a good run on the motorway for 30-60 minutes helps, but the problem seems to have returned and is harder to shift. I was wondering if there is any reliable fuel additives out there to 'clean' the cat (We were quoted £800 Parts only to replace it! ![]() Any ideas/thoughts/solutions are most welcome. Thanks all. Greg.

This is proving to be difficult - has anyone heard of or tried a product called 'Cataclean'?
It's not an expensive gamble, but seems hard to find - so I was wondering if anyone here has encountered it with a Diesel Volvo and could perhaps Yay or Nay it? *Shakes head disconsolately as problem remains unsolved* Thanks People. Here's hoping...
