Hi & welcome
Regarding the window being stuck, you could always try holding the key in the 'lock' position on the driver's door just to see if you can return the window to fully up. It's a feature of the 480 that has got me out of this jam a couple of times ... it might just work for you. Regards, Tony.

The fuel guage is on the infocentre which is famous for its connections on the back. The connections loosen over time so the display on the infocenter becomes intermittent/scrambled. The display can return temporarily by a tap on the dash above the infocenter (or in my case driving over the expansion joints on the tay road bridge!)
To fix it youll have to remover the dash to get at the clocks, sounds scary but isnt too difficult to do. Refer to the 480 club europe forum and help will be readily available |

I would advice to lower no more then 30mm, otherwise every speedbump becomes a challenge. The're several brands oa Boge, Sachs, Lesjofors, and some more. Remember that the original shocks won't last long with lowering springs. To do it right you should also change the shocks for or Bilsteins or Koni. Other brand shocks can't cope the lowering for long. See also this topic for more info.

480 owners must be aware of speed bumps even if at standard ride height-I managed to scrape one in kent somewhere with 3 passengers aboard! damn them (the speed bumps)

Thanks guys. I do live down a road with terrible speed bumps, but they are not too bad taken at an angle. I really can't wait to get this car!
