Default Help! Middle middle seat stuck down!

We went to pick up a table this evening and on getting back we went to put the seats all back up and the kids seats back in, but the middle seat on the middle row will just not release and come up! It's like the handle that you pull (which has the wire behind it) isn't pulling the release clip.

I can't see anything anywhere to pull underneath to release it.

Typically tomorrow is the first time in months that we need to get 5 people in the car, so ones going to have to sit in the back with their knees squished up.

Have you pushed back the seat as far as it will go?
Then try the handle on the back of the seat.

Not tried pushing it all the way back as it wasn't moved forward but will try in the morning. As for the handle on the back, been pulling it hard, got pliers on the cable too as it didn't seem to be moving, but nothing :S

You have to push the back of the down then use the handle to release it, I had the same issue!

Right, I've tried:

Pushing seat down further (whist its folded) and pulling the handle
Pulling the seat up as much as possible and pulling the handle
Pushing the seat back on the rails as far back as possible and pulling the handle
Pushing the seat forward as far as it'll go and pulling the handle
Pulling the seat up without using the handle - forcing it in other words
Pulling the release cable, attached to the handle, with pliers which is further than the handle could do.

And still nothing ;(

Any other ideas?

Might sound daft, but is the seat in the "booster" position? ... if so it must be returned to the normal position before it folds.

Hope it helps

Ooops its stuck down .... ignore me, having a bad day !
