Default Wanted 850 Tdi Auto Estate Power Steering Pump

Wondering if anyone just happens to have a Power Steering pump lying around that they may be willing to part with.

Vehicle Details:
850 Tdi SE Estate Auto
has air con if that makes any difference to the one I need?
97 'P' plate

Unfortunately mine has well and truly had its day and the local dealership want both my arms and legs for a new one.

Thanks

Justin

I have replied to your pm, and although its a discounted price, it will still require one arm and a leg i am afraid.

It doesn't make a difference if you have air con or not it appears, but you have to make sure they are both from the same year of vehicle, as the pump on the cars up to 1996 was different to the pump on the 1997 model (on the TD's). Petrol models are also different to the diesel too. Basically you need to get one from a 1997 TD model if from an 850 model, though as a bonus this is the same pump fitted in the S70 and V70 p1 series TD models, up to 2000.

To clarify, yours is a 1997 model according to the chassis number you supplied. If you find one and are unsure please let me know in a pm, and i can try to cross reference the numbers for you. You need to be looking for one of these numbers really:

9140195
9139565
8603049
8251729

(like i said though let me know if you need me to cross reference any other number you find)

I hope this helps,

Simon
