Default Sound out of oil filler cap

In this clip (not my car) you can hear a noise out of the valvecover.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

Now my engine has sort of the same sound.
My gutfeeling is telling me there is something wrong.
To be precise: A broken rocker or tappet or a not completely sealing of a valve.

I also heard and read that more diesels are a bit noisy and some of them had bad tappets/rockers.

Before i will inspect the camshafttrain ill do a forte engineflush for the remote chanche of a clogged tappet.

For my curiousity: Does anybody else heard this noise out of the oil fillercap?
Or want to check it ?

Nope no paranoia
If this sound is normal, how can it permanently disappear after an engineflush and new oil?
Completly silent now

My D5 makes about the same noise, has done since we bought it. Maybe a little bit of diesel knock, not currently worried about it.

I have the d5 185 version and my sound is more of a deep popping sound and certainly louder than that shown in video . Keep bonnet shut when running and you wont here it !

Eh? If it permanently disappeared is it back?
I reckon it`s crankcase pressure moving pockets of oil that gathers in head casting webs around myself.
Likely nothing to worry about.
