Default Only one horn working!!!

Hi guys

I appear to only have one of the horns working at the moment. Had the head light off to have a look and it seems to be the one at the back, which is the hardest to get to as all the connections are under a metal plate.

Does anyone know how to get to it so I can check? Fed up of the car sounding rubbish when someone's about to jump on my bonnet 😂

They come off as a pair. One bolt and unplug and you have them out. I do think that most car manufacturers put there horns in places where they are subjected to all the crap on the road being flung at them so I’m always impressed they last so long

They seem to have separate connectors though? I'm hoping it's just that and that it needs a bit of a clean. Either way, not easily accessible and doesn't seem to just pull out

Mine are like these ones. There is one connector and the 2 are hard wired together

I also found it easier to unplug it after removing the bolt as it was easy to get to at that point.

Where is the bolt to remove? I see a bolt on the metal plate above, is the one I need to remove or is there another?

Often caused by a bad earth.... the horns earth through the bracket and chassis so I would diassamble them, clean the mating surfaces and try again...
