volvo app -heating/cooling

Hi all

I am little bit confused. i have V60 T5 2019. with webasto heater.
So warming up the car in winter trough app. peace of cake.

confusion comes in summer.
i have in app when i click fan icon listed Heater not climate.
And if i start it on a hod day only fan in car starts to blow. no start of the car, that air conditioner would start. so not much point of blowing hot air to the car.

should the car have something special, to allow remote start or am i missing something ?

I don't think you can do the cooling side unless you have a hybrid, the remote start function was separated in the new version of the app, what happens if you switch back to the old design in the app settings?

That's how it's supposed to work. If you want the aircon on you have to remote start the car.

I find that blowing air (only) is quite effective. If the car is parked in the sun, the cabin temperature could be ~40C but the outside air might only be 25C in which case the cabin is being cooled, admittedly not as well as with the aircon on.

with old look functionality is complete the same, only icons on screen are different.

now stupid question, how can i switch back to new look ?

I think you have to uninstall the app and reinstall sounds to me like you don't have remote start functionality on your car, so you can't get the AC running .

In the 'new' look, follow the 3 steps attached. If you select 'No' in 'Start Car?', only the auxiliary heater will turn on to heat the car and for cooling only air will blow through.

Not all countries allow remote start. Perhaps Slovenia doesn't allow it?

Thanks for reply, but if i hit start, it doen not ask me when, it just start the fan.
Maybe it is not allowed or country specific.
