Volvo 240 in the British Drift Championship
For those who dont know, there is a Volvo 240 Estate running in the British Drift Championship this year.
Built by Huxley Motorsport in 8 weeks from a bare shell. Running a BMW engine of some sort. Oh and this is what it looked like when Suterman owned it a few years back before it was canabalised for its redblock turbo engine to go into another 240 for a guy who works on Retro Cars magazine. |

Yep that's the one. the turbo engine went into the NATO green one and the shell was left behind so it was turned into a drift car.
Not a fan of the slamrover, just looks a bit daft. then again i don't like land rovers in any shape or form, id rather jave a jap 4x4 or go for a American bronco. |

First time out, they qualified 10th and finished 5th, great to see it battling with Skylines and S14's etc
Bit more about it here: http://retrorides.proboards.com/inde...=148995&page=1 |
