XC70 ? nearly new front Springs - Free !

I have a 1998 V70 and bought a pair of good quality front springs - from a reputable on line Volvo parts supplier. However when I fitted them the front of the car was a good 1" higher than originally. I thought that they would just settle down however after about 500 miles was still too high - so I bought a another pair from a german specialist (Skandix) and nose is now back to original height and has been ok for 1000 miles. When replacing them I compared the two springs I noticed the first were taller. I can only assume that the first supplier provided either super uprated (unlikely) or XC70 (which sits higher). Anyway they are free to anyone who owns a XC70 (they might fit the 2001 onwards BTW) or perhaps someone who wants their V70/S70 to sit 1" higher at the front. The please feel free to pick up from my home in Halstead Essex (evenings or weekends). Hope someone can use them. Rgds Simon
