Help to identify part from photo
My son thinks this part fell of his C30 1.6 diesel (2010) today.
Can anyone identify what it might be. He thinks it came from the right rear of the car? Many thanks for any suggestions. Last edited by C30fanbase; Dec 12th, 2021 at 12:07. |

From the end of the Anti Roll Bar? Lost something similar from my V50 once.

Should it be driveable until it can be replaced?

It won't handle as well as it should.
One (or both) of these has snapped. It's an easy repair, the worst part is getting the rotten old ones off. |

That’s really helpful, thanks so much.
Once he gets the car back here, I’ll swap them out. Thanks again. |

It was the ARB drop link. When we looked, both bottom bolts had sheared off.
Had ordered two as intended to replace them both luckily. Definitely PITA to get the old ones out as so much rust had built up. Used a bush separator to pry them off in the end. First one took an hour while we figured it out, second took ten minutes! Picture of the new ones in situ attached. Thanks again for all the help. |
