Default What's the latest nav DVD?

Hi,

Just took delivery of my brand spanking S60 D5 SE yesterday, it's even better than I thought it would be and looks absolutely georgeous in Passion Red so I'm chuffed to bits. :7 (I did have my reservations about bright red after I'd placed the order!)

Anyway... While playing around with the nav yesterday, I found that on one of my mates streets it only goes up to number 7. He lives at number 71 and he moved in in 2003. The nav DVD that I got with the car has part number 30732657-0450, which I understand to mean that it's for the S60/V70 and was compiled in week 50 of 2004. If that's right then surely it should have house numbers that existed at the end of 2004? If it isn't the latest disk then I can take it up with the dealer but thought I should check with those in the know first.

Thanks muchly.

My June 2005 S60 has part no. 30752548 0525 which I assume is week 25 2005. It includes TMC.

Volvo web-site http://navi.volvocars.com suggests latest disk is December 2005 but I have seen other data suggesting a release in week 22 2006.

Are later releases always compatible with earlier (DVD RTI) systems?

Are they worth getting and/or are there any release notes detailing the changes? How often do they update (looks like about twice yearly)? How much do Volvo charge?

My disks are already out of date (no knowledge of a recent local bypass) but I do not want to update unnecessarily or if the disks will not work.
