V70 d5 no boost
hi can any one help i have a 2001 v70 d5 only covered 84000 miles fvsh there
is no boost pipes seem fine put on machine came up with 5 codes reset the codes all clear but still no boost there is no smoke when u rev it up but the turbo wont work no oil ;leaks but one thing i did notice is the fuel filter looks old can that cause the problem |

v70 boost
hi it revs up freely just lacks power the codes were
00057(0039) 00006(0006) 00011(000b) 00018(1112) (0x31) hi any help would be great asked main dealer they said they have never had that problem before |

Change the fuel filter - it's not difficult & not expensive.
Plenty people (me included) have had D5 issues due to the fuel filter.

Fuel filter changed and the engine management light is off, rev's a lot easier now and feels more responsive.

One of my friends has got a garage so he stuck it on his computer not sure what type of system it is though
