200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

A serious amount of money,be lucky to see 5k i think. A ground up retoration on an e type jag costs 50k plus, the car is then worth 20 to 25k.

True and a true enthusiast spends fortunes on his pride and joy knowing full well he will never see a return on his money, so unless the seller is a dealer this guy is dreaming big time, i personaly would not give more than a grand for it, not my cup of tea but thats just me, lots of people would not give tuppence for the S60 i own lol.

oh yes its all about personal preference..having a 240 they are good cars but not worth that sort of money...
by the way i would give you tuppence for your s60....would you take a cheque??...lol

Ask me in two years and 9 months when i out it (hp paid off) if its been as good as i think it will, ill get another one. If its been crap(you can have it for tuppence) and ill go back to Jags.

Lol, id swap the air in your spare tyre for my swimbo, thinks im on a dating site every time i go on here and the only female ive come accross (if youll pardon the pun) is Laney.
