Rear Parking Sensors
I will soon be removing the factory fitted parking sensor on my saloon (the towbar) and I am wanting to retrofit electric ones. I've done these before on other cars, but not seen any on 240's
Has anyone done it? Just wondered how it looks on the bumper.. |

Electric ones are a waste of time
240s are super easy to see your corners there is no point having a buzzer scream at you when you are 3 foot away from something. The mechanical sensor is great for pushing the limits |

I'm only concerned as I've spent my life driving estate cars, which are basically flat at the back. But the saloon boot is big haha

I haven’t done it myself, but a reversing camera would be really cool - and I don’t think expensive these days.
PS. £20 worth of wireless wonderfulness: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304050497...mis&media=COPY

I fitted this set to my Fiat Ducato van, with the black sensors it looks factory and I liked the ability to adjust sensitivity. No need on my 240 estate obviously, that's what bumpers are for!

It's then where to put it ?,mine is on the lip of the boot shut. The rear of the roof would give a better overall view though.
