Have just pick up my V40 D3 R Design Lux.. this year model..
Any body know what Manuals I should have got with it.
Only received very basic owners manual and the Sensus Nav.manual.
Nothing on how to use and set any controls, radio, phone...

found this out to late to phone Volvo.

This year model? I take it you mean MY 16 since you have just picked the car up as opposed to MY 15

As with all new Volvos the main manual is now electronic and stored in the
sensus system. You go in via the my car button.

Thanks for the reply, actually it's MY15 three months old.
I thought that might be the case, as I had found all the manuals on line
before posting. So it's just the basic manual on safety.
Why give a hard copy on the sat nav. and not on the rest of the set ups.

Will just have to read them from the iPad.

your lucky - I don't have a hard copy for my sensus nav - wish I did.

I'll have a look at mine later, they have a volvo part number on them, dealer should be able to order for free, or a couple of quid at most.

sorry I feel like a right pillock. I never actually looked in detail at the manuals until reading all this. I actual DO have sensus nav manual as well as user manual + extra XC manual.

Thanks for the offer though.

I feel really stupid missing these though.

You can also download the manual in pdf format in My Volvo on the Volvo web site.

However I believe there is some legislation that requires any company to give you hardcopy of the manual if you request it. I say this because I once complained about not having a hardcopy manual for a Canon camera and was sent a hardcopy due to some EU legislation. Awhile ago now so I can't remember the exact details.

With the V40 I have a manual the size of Encyclopedia Britannica, with the XC60 it is more 'Penthouse'...!!
