Default V40 R Design - Cruise control post order.

So, disappointing that the button on my 6 month old V40 is a speed limiter button (pointless) and not cruise control.
More disappointing is that all the hardware and software is in the car, but not enabled.

So, first thing first.
Buy the new button.
As I have the limiter button, I have to buy 31334457 which has the two buttons, otherwise it is part number 31295410. (A few on ebay from scrapped cars).

The installation took about 9 minutes -

Last thing I have to now do is get the software enabled.
My understanding is that I can not just use a Dice or Dice Pro for this, which is a shame (Please confirm). Instead I have to get volvo to connect a dice and purchase software pack 31316557 which is around £300....

So, I am at this last stage, and dealers on here want to help? Or quote?
Or any other bright ideas? I would love to just connect a owner dice and see the module and enable the cruise mode???

It is annoying when you google it - it costs $10 - http://www.volvopartswarehouse.com/p.../31316557.html

Yup, looked at this for mine too, the buttons are peanuts, the software is ridiculous!

Even if you have VIDA (and a legit one you'll need so it can connect and download), you still have to buy the extortionately priced software from a dealer.
