This thread is for us New V40 owners to share things other owners may not know about in their cars.
Some hidden treasures in the manual, or things we have found that are not in the manual.

I will go first.

Holding down the Unlock button (Door panel, or key fob) for 3 seconds fully opens all the windows.
Doing the same to the lock button, closes all the windows.

Handy in hot weather when walking to the car. Hold down the remote unlock button for three seconds, the doors will unlock and all the windows open to expel all the hot air.

and I'll go second lol

the wing mirrors can be retracted from the inside by holding down the wing mirror 'L' + 'R' buttons simultaneously.

This can be handy when negotiating a very tight space (like parking in a barn with narrow access).
