Default Advice please on 1999 V70 SE T5 Auto

linky
Been umming and arring over whether to go have a look at this car as it's on fleabay.

It's looks nice, but the small oil leak is worrying me. My mate says his had similar and costs 8-900 quid to fix (he didn't have his fixed).

Off to look at another on Sunday but this one is a newer one (other is an 850)

Any advice/opinions very welcome.

looks tidy, the oil leak will probably be at the worst senario the rear main,as mentioned, at a "indy" £500 to change on a auto

best think to do is roadtest for 30 mins then leave idling for 20 mins to see how bad the oil leak is !

1 drip of oil is bad to me !

Thanks, I do rather like the look of it but oil leaks can get worse..
I'll see how we feel in the morning when looking at the other one. If it didn't have the leak I'd be off to see it in a flash..
