Where do you get your genuine Volvo parts from?
Hi folks,
Just a quick question...where do you order and buy your genuine Volvo parts from? I'm tiring of ordering from Volvo main dealers and schlepping miles to the dealer to pick up a random grommet (they don't seem to office a postal service) or whatever, but I can't find an online sales place, or at least - one that will sell me: 30762861 (bottom tailgate buffer). Seems I've got to either order off a site from USA (massive postal charge) or from eBay (from lithuania...again a massive postal charge).

There are several dealers who have an online presence and will post items. Off the top of my head - Stoneacre ( Mill) newcastle, Lloyds Carlisle, FRF Swansea, and Rydale (can't remember their location)

I get service stuff for my D5 from Volvo parts trade on Ebay ( think it's Mill Volvo or Stoneacre )
All of the more hard to get parts for my 940 and 740 I get from FRF who are excellent

I believe that FRF usually discount prices for forum members. They were helpful on the phone.
I recently wanted to replace the damaged foglight grill on our V70. There were a couple of s/hand ones on eBay for £29/£30 (one slightly damaged). I then came across eBay seller 'partiau' who sold me a new one, bagged, for £25 delivered.

Chris at Caffyns parts, Eastbourne, is a helpful guy for parts & a small discount if you're lucky.

I find the discounts strong on oil, filters and the likes. Good on brakes and service items. Calipers, lights and specialist less common parts are more dealer priced however. Well worth calling him. |
