Wanted: Prop shaft flange/yoke
Does anyone have a propshaft end flange/yoke that would fit my 1965 P1800S overdrive with M41 gearbox, please?
I believe it's the later type, ie, normal 4 bolt flange, not U-bolts. I'm trying to make up a spare propshaft that I can refurbish and get balanced to replace the slightly suspect one that's on the car. I have everything apart from this end flange. |

If you can't find one closer to home, I've got a pretty good boneyard of drivelines I can rob parts from.... But mailing that across the pond wouldn't be to expensive.

A decent propshaft place should be able to help. When I had my propshaft rebuilt a few years back by Propshaft Services, it needed a new front yoke as the old one was damaged due to a seized front UJ. The total cost which included three new UJs, the replacement front yoke & balancing was about £120 including VAT. I don't know if it was an off the shelf part, or a blank that had the bolt holes drilled to match, but it looks essentially the same and does the job

Thanks for your replies, Chris and Paul. I was planning to get it balanced anyway so I think I might contact Propshaft Services. Cheers!
