Default S80 D5 185 bhp

hi, I'm facing turbo problem with my 2009 s80 D5 185 bhp. it's showing emissions system sign on the dash, and car has very slow acceleration. 1st I changed the engine oil, oil filter, air filter and fuel filter but no improvement. then I search a little bit and found out that i need to clean the EGR valve. But i could not find the guide for engine in my car as all pictures and videos are about the 165 bhp. I would be highly appreciate if some one please help me with pictures or video to show me how to remove the EGR valve on D5344T10 engine. I've very little mechanical knowledge, need help in easy words.
Regards, Eddie

If no one has what you want, get a copy of Vida on your computer.
It contains all the step by step information you'll ever need.

Changing the oil when in limpmode with engine code? Serious?
And why do you have the impression its a turbo problem? What symptomes do you have that point that way?
Vida is indeed the best option but there is a cheaper one
Buy a cheap elm237 adapter and install torque on your smartphone and proceed when you now whats the problem
In the mean time you can quickly check if the leverarm of the swirlvalve is broken its right next the big coolant hose exiting the block

High oil level on Euro 4 D5's can cause limp mode, but it sounds like you have EGR, DPF or swirl flap related problems. As 5Cylinder has said have a look at the swirl flap arm. If it's broken or disconnected it can cause limp mode. The variable vanes in the turbos on Euro 4 D5 engines are controlled by an electronic actuator, and they seem to be very reliable. Chances are your turbo is fine.

Ah ok after the software update thats possible with a high oillevel
He needs to readout the enginecode to point himself in the right direction , its most common that its a boostleak/airmassmeter fuelpressure or swirlarmcause
With a dpf problem he would have received an additional textmessage in the dim
